The schools and colleges used to conduct Youth Boot Camp during the vacation period for a maximum period of 2 months and it will be a month in the case of schools. In the schools, this Youth Boot Camp is organized by the sponsors in association with the correspondent of the school. Mostly in schools the Youth Boot Camp may be a drawing workshop or a cricket coaching camp or a foot ball coaching camp and in majority of the schools karate Youth Boot Camp are the most famous. Some schools make it compulsory for the students to join such camps and the fee is charged automatically in the term fees or the tuition fee. As a school boy, I attended a Youth Boot Camp where karate, swimming and foot ball were coached for 2 months and the entire vacation went but the camp was real fun and I learn swimming only from this camp which proved very useful in my future. Mostly in the mornings we practice karate with the master and the various moves were taught for self defense with clear illustrations and in the afternoon we relax our selves in the swimming pool and learn to swim from the instructor and then in the evening we have the foot ball practice and foot ball was so exciting that we used to have matches in the evening for the full one and a half hours with a break in between. This Youth Boot Camp was very helpful for our school foot ball team which won the state level first prize in the foot ball competition. Most of the parents leave their children to participate in the Youth Boot Camp as they think that if the children are in home they will be playing only video games and in a family where both the parents are working they will prefer the children to join the boot camp. Some schools even arrange for a scout camp where tents are put and the entire class spends a month in a strange area without any convenience of TV and other modern equipments. In the colleges the Youth Boot Camp will be to impart communication skills to the students and mostly it will be study related improving the personality of an individual and sorts like that but Industrial visits are very common in the colleges and mostly it will last for about a week or two.
